Mentorship Programme

Launched in 2023, WICCI’s Mentorship Programme for Young Women in the India-EU Corridor was created to support young women who aspire to build careers linked to the India-EU space. It combines one-on-one mentorship with group exchange, peer connection, and a final publication component, giving participants access not only to professional guidance but also to a broader community of women active in the corridor.

Over its first three editions, the programme has brought together 30 mentees and 30 mentors from across India and the European Union. The mentees have come from different EU countries and various regions of India, with backgrounds in international relations, European studies, business, public policy, law, sustainability, communications, entrepreneurship, and related fields.

In 2025, the third edition concluded with the publication of Women Shaping the EU-India Corridor: Voices, Leadership, Impact, published online in January 2026. Together, the first three editions have created a space for meaningful mentorship, professional growth, and stronger connections between women shaping the India-EU corridor.

WICCI’s Mentorship Programme combines professional guidance with community-building and intellectual exchange. It is not only about career advice, but also about creating a supportive ecosystem where young women can engage with experienced professionals, reflect on their place in the India-EU corridor, and contribute their own voice to the conversation.

The programme:
